After having set the technical and mental foundations, 9th grade is (if you have not yet done so) where you really want to push yourself to reach a top club that competes at either the MLS NEXT or ECNL level. Additionally, one should focus on understanding the collegiate and recruiting system, beginning to collecting film, and setting realistic but ambitious objectives.
